Hi everyone, do you have a minute?

celebrate-diversity:

Hi

hey

.

How about

.

for just a minute

.

we stop

.

and pause.

If there is anything we learned from Glee’s episode “On My Way” is that when things are happening fast and all at once, judgement gets put to the wayside. That life is short, but we can get caught up in everything happening around us- sometimes we just need to slow. down.

And, if it’s alright with you, I’d like to do that now.

There will be time later to analyze pairings, character flaws, continuity flaws, etc. but how about, for just one moment we strip that away. Strip away the silly lines, the silly stories, the silly drama - and look straight into the heart of the message.

Life can throw a lot of punches, and it’s true - one person can only stand being punched for so long. No matter what it is, like it was stated, everyone has something -one little thing- that could send them over the edge. Some may be lucky enough to never have to figure out what that thing is, some may be aware of it, and some become engrossed in it. When there is no where left to turn, when you feel like there is no way out and that maybe things would be better off without you.

And here’s where we need to hit pause.

There is no reason that one person should ever have to feel like this, but the reality is - a lot of us do.

When we say “you are not alone” we are saying that there are people to support you, but they are also saying that there are others who feel the exact same out there. There is another person out there feeling as worthless as you, who feels like they are at the end of their rope too. And I don’t wish that on anyone. They may not have support from their family, school, community; but outside of that small area - there are literally millions of people out there, beyond your immediate world, that would be willing to help if you give them the chance.

So yes, life sucks. But by surrounding yourself - whether in real life or online - by people who are willing to pause with you and just listen, things will get better. Maybe not now, maybe not for a while, but eventually. If you set to get out of what ever is bringing your down, whatever you feel is making you spiral downwards; if you just get away from that negativity and build towards your own goals and aspirations - that’s when life begins.

Find what makes you happy, think about those goals and don’t ever give up hope.

There is always someone willing to listen. (x)

Thank you.
